The extractions are gentle and the macerations long. The Cabernet Francs with a good share of Cheval Blanc are more than the majority this year, representing more than 50% of the blend! Aged for 16 months, 100% new barrels.
Tasting: This vintage is marked by great freshness, intensity and depth. An explosive attack on the palate, aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants, with floral notes of violets, spices and discreet oak. Supple and round, the tannins are coated and very present. A vintage which will be more accessible in its youth than the previous ones, but which will evolve wonderfully over time thanks to a perfect mastery of the acidity / tannin balance.
