Moet & chandon
Grand Vintage Brut
The Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut 2013 represents a particularly good year in the Champagne
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Brut 2013 reflects a good champagne year. Since the first vintage of the house in 1842, 72 vintage cuvées have been released, including the 2008 vintage. A small portion of these 72 cuvées continue to age in the cellars of the champagne house, in Epernay, Champagne. The réserve cellars of Moët & Chandon have one of the largest and most prestigious collections worldwide.
2008 was a good year because it was comparatively mild and not too hot and cold at the time. The winter was characterized by mild temperatures, the spring brought stormy and rainy days and the summer was rather cold. However, the September that year was very dry and sunny, which made for a really good harvest.
The Grand Vintage 2013 delights with a fruity bouquet
This Vintage 2013 is made up of 40% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Noir and 23% Pinot Meunier. On the palate, you will experience aromas of ripe stone fruits, rounded off with notes of sweet pastries, brioche, almonds and vanilla. The Grand Vintage 2013 presents a lively and sparkling character that convinces with long-lasting citrus notes in the finish.
